Amy
is a twenty-six old artist with a passion for every type of art, and she’s
enjoyed painting/drawing since she was two years old.
Amy won many art competitions throughout
high school, an art scholarship in college, and recently won a top 50
National award in the Greenhouse Gallery Salon Showing of 2009.
She gives credit to God and to her mother
for patiently helping her along her artistic path. “I learned things
overtime, and not by pressure, and became better by constant practice and
asking my mother for help. More importantly I would watch her paint” says
Amy.
With constant encouragement from friends
and family, Amy dedicates her focus on the arts, whether it be oil, pastels
or watercolor. Her artistic hobbies include oil, oil pastels, watercolor,
pen & ink, photography, scrapbooking, mural paintings with acrylic, greeting
cards, and much more. Although there are ups and downs in any career, Amy
has learned to stay persistent in the artwork.
Amy is inspired by
Rembrandt, Monet, and Caravaggio to name a few of the greats. Growing up in
the footsteps of her mother, a very successful artist, she focuses on old
world style, and strong Christian beliefs. |
