June Cade

Born in Madill, Oklahoma, June is mostly self-taught but attended the Dallas Art Institute in the early 1950's.  Her education was greatly enhanced through her travels to Paris, London, Rome, Israel, Canada, Hawaii, and other places.

June has been interested in art all of her life and has been painting professionally in oils for over forty years.  She taught private art lessons once a week for over twenty-five years, but for the past ten years or so, she has tried to spend more time painting for shows, where she has won many awards.

June and her husband, who is a rancher and a native Texan, have lived on ranches from California to Mississippi, where she acquired much of her material for her paintings.  But for the past twenty-seven years, they have lived on a large wheat farm west of Corsicana, Texas.

She has painted mostly animals and wildlife the past ten years or so, but still paints portraits, westerns, still life, and, occasionally, a landscape.

June's work has been featured in two publications:  InformArt magazine and Sporting Classics magazine, and in such magazines as Art of the West, Southwest Art, and Western Art Collector.

Her work can be found in many private and corporate collections throughout the United States and parts of Europe.
